Next week we have a couple things happening. On Wednesday we’ll be at The Pourhouse and on Friday we’ll be at the Nomad.
It’s coming up quick!
On Wednesday September 20th we’ll be playing the Pourhouse in Minneapolis with some cool humans (who may be looking for an alien). They are Scubadiver and they’re coming up from Houston, Texas. They asked us to join them on the Minneapolis stop of their tour! To say the least, we are thrilled to be on the bill with them. It’s an early show that starts at 7pm. King Fish Crow lights the candles, so to speak, and we’re followed by the fine gents in Scubadiver. Elk River’s very own Omission Republic will close out the night in grand fashion. Yes. A Wednesday night. Three bands before 10pm. Can’t beat it. A night of local and national expression. You won’t want to miss it.
Friday, September 22nd we’ll be playing The Nomad World Pub with our friends Loons in the Attic and local rockers Peddler. This one is going to be a lot of fun. Music starts with Peddler at 9pm followed by Loons in the Attic and your favorite band, King Fish Crow, will play till they turn the lights out. So come on out and stay up late with us.
We hope to see you there. We’ll have our brand new llama t-shirts and both of our albums available for purchase. Get yourself some threads and represent.
Mark your calendar for big events in October
- October 7th – Loon Fest at Modist Brewing Company
- October 19th – The Viking Bar with Mumbling Owls
- October 31 – Halloween
In other news, The Wailing Loons are using the Bunker in preparation for their upcoming gig at the Prairie Burn Festival. It’s cool to help out friends when they need a spot to rehearse. It’s nice to have a spot to share.
